Survey report (PDF)

The Survey report is a professional PDF produced with one click. Hand it to your client, archive it, or submit it to an authority. It includes every meaningful project output visually.

A typical report includes the following sections (only the existing layers are included):

  • Project name, client, field ID
  • Survey date, signatory name (from your account)
  • Drone model and serial number
  • Company logo (if set in your profile)
  • Area extent (hectares, m²)
  • Bounding box coordinates (lat/lon)
  • RTK statistics — accuracy of the imagery
  • GSD — final orthomosaic resolution
  • Image count

A map of the drone’s flight path and the surrounding safety zone.

The full survey’s finished orthomosaic — with field boundaries overlaid. High-resolution rendering with a scale bar.

The colour-coded surface model with contour lines. A legend below explains the elevation range.

Each vegetation index on a separate page with the chosen colour ramp and range. Statistics included:

  • Mean, median, standard deviation
  • Histogram
  • Percentage split by preset ranges

Each boundary listed with area (ha) and perimeter (m). Obstacles and no-spray zones marked separately.

The VRA map visually (colour-coded zones), with zone statistics:

ZoneAreaDoseTotal amount
13.2 ha180 kg/ha576 kg
25.8 ha120 kg/ha696 kg
33.5 ha80 kg/ha280 kg
Σ12.5 ha1 552 kg
  1. Open the processed project (at least the orthomosaic must be ready).
  2. Click Generate report in the top-right.
  3. A save dialog opens. Pick a name (defaults to the project name) and a folder.
  4. Click Save.
  5. The background shows the Generating… state — roughly 10–30 seconds.
  6. Done — a green check and ”✓ Saved” message.

The report uses the default template; there is no detailed customisation UI yet (company logo, header / footer, font, colours). On the roadmap:

  • Logo upload
  • Custom cover-page templates
  • Language selector (currently Hungarian for HU; this is the English manual — report localisation tracks the app language)
  • Custom section order

If you need urgency, get in touch — we can produce a custom template.

  • Size: A4 portrait, ~8–15 pages depending on project depth
  • Resolution: 300 DPI
  • File size: typically 5–15 MB
  • Embedded fonts — Helvetica / OS fonts
  • Print-ready: maps are vector graphics, base images 300 DPI rasters

The PDF is a standard file — share it anywhere:

  • Email attachment (typically < 15 MB)
  • Cloud sharing (iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive)
  • Printed (A4 or A3)
  • Mobile devices
  • Cover page — don’t leave the field ID blank on project creation. It appears on the cover.
  • Multiple indices — generate all three (NDVI, GNDVI, NDRE) during processing so they all appear in the report.
  • Timestamp — the report’s footer always shows the save timestamp. Use it to track versions.
