Sign in & password management
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”Open my.dronefield.app/login and enter your email and password.
Ticking “Remember me” keeps you signed in for 30 days. Use this only on your own machine, never on a shared computer.
Forgotten password
Section titled “Forgotten password”Open my.dronefield.app/forgot-password (or click the Forgot password? link below the sign-in form). Enter your email and within a few seconds you’ll receive a reset link.
Click the link and set a new password — at least 8 characters.
Changing password while signed in
Section titled “Changing password while signed in”If you remember the old password and just want to rotate it:
- Sign in to the portal.
- Go to Profile → Security.
- Click Change password.
- Enter the old password, then the new one twice.
- Click Save.
After a change, every active session (other browsers, the desktop application) is automatically signed out, and you must sign in again with the new password. This is a security feature — only you have access to the account afterwards.
Single sign-on (SSO)
Section titled “Single sign-on (SSO)”SSO (Google, Microsoft, Apple ID) is not yet supported. One DroneField account = one email + password pair.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Section titled “Two-factor authentication (2FA)”Currently neither required nor supported for end-user accounts. 2FA is on the roadmap.
Device-level security
Section titled “Device-level security”The desktop application registers each of your machines separately — you can see the list on the Devices page and revoke any machine (e.g. if you sold an old computer or lost it).
If you see an unknown device on the list, immediately:
- Revoke that device as described above.
- Change your password (see above).
- Contact us via the portal support form.
Signing out
Section titled “Signing out”In the top-right of the portal, the profile menu has Logout. The desktop application has Settings → Account → Sign out. They are independent.
