Project licence (one-off)

If you only work with drone imagery occasionally and an annual subscription doesn’t quite fit, you can buy a one-off project licence. A project licence covers one project with the full feature set.

  • 1–3 surveys per year. Significantly cheaper than the annual subscription.
  • Demo or one-off job for a single client. No long-term commitment.
  • Trial run before a bigger subscription. Do one project the way your workflow expects, then decide.

If you work with DroneField monthly or more often, an annual subscription is significantly cheaper per project — see Subscription.

A project licence is tied to one specific project and grants:

  • All processing features of that project: orthomosaic, DSM, vegetation indices, application map, report.
  • Unlimited reprocessing on the same project — experimenting with parameters does not consume credits.
  • The project stays openable and exportable forever.
  • New projects cannot be processed under the same credit — every new project needs a new credit.
  • Version updates: the desktop app can be updated freely, but the credit always remains tied to the original project.
  1. Sign in and go to the Subscription page.
  2. Scroll down to the One-off project licence / Extra project section. (Prices are listed there.)
  3. Click Buy.
  4. The checkout dialog is the same as for subscriptions (billing details, optional coupon).
  5. Card payment via Stripe.
  6. After successful payment, the new credit appears immediately on the Dashboard and the Entitlements page.

In the left menu, click Entitlements. Every purchased licence appears as a separate card with:

  • Type — Free Project, Extra Project, Subscription Access or Admin Grant.
  • Status — Active (still usable), Consumed (already used), Expired, Revoked.
  • Quantity — how many processings it covers.
  • Validity — if there’s a time limit.

A project credit is spent when:

  1. You create a new project in the desktop application.
  2. You start processing (the Process button).
  3. Processing reaches at least the bundle adjustment stage.

If processing is interrupted or fails, the credit is not consumed. Once processing completes successfully, the credit is activated for that specific project — and you can rerun the processing as many times as you like afterwards.

A toast at the bottom of the main screen confirms the consumption (“1 credit used — Field-A12 project”).

Every new registration receives one free project credit. Use it to test the workflow before committing to a subscription.

The free credit appears on the Entitlements page as a Free Project entry.
