Coupon redemption

DroneField occasionally issues promotional coupons — at conferences, partner programmes, or introductory campaigns. A coupon code grants a percentage or fixed discount on a subscription or project licence.

Where and when do I get coupons?

Coupons arrive by email if you’re part of a promotion. A coupon code is an 8–16 character string, for example SPRING2026 or DRONEEXPO50.

We never distribute coupons by phone, SMS or social media. If you receive one through such channels, it’s probably spam — don’t use it.

How to redeem

Coupon redemption is part of the checkout flow:

1. Start a purchase (subscription or project licence).
2. In the checkout dialog, fill in the billing details.
3. At the bottom of the panel is a field: “Coupon code (optional)”.
4. Paste your code and click Apply.
5. Within a few seconds the total is recalculated — if the coupon is valid, the new price is shown together with the discount amount on a separate line.
6. If it looks right, click Continue to payment.

What the portal might say

After validation you may see one of these:

Message	Meaning
Coupon valid — discount: %d EUR	All good, you can use it
Coupon does not exist or was mistyped	Check the characters, especially 0/O, 1/I/l, 5/S
The coupon has expired	You’re past the validity date — get in touch, maybe a new code is available
You have already used this coupon	Each coupon has a use limit; you’ve reached it
This coupon is not valid for this plan	The coupon is tied to a different plan; pick another or check the terms
This coupon is for new customers only	The coupon has a new customer restriction

Multiple coupons?

Only one coupon can be applied per purchase. If you try a second, it overrides the first — they are not combinable.

After the purchase

On a successful purchase the coupon is consumed — even if you back out at the very end. The invoice also shows the discount as a separate line.

Free plan via 100% coupon

If a coupon gives a 100% discount, the total is 0 EUR. In that case:

• No Stripe payment is needed — the bank-card step is skipped.
• The purchase is finalised automatically and the subscription or project credit goes active immediately.
• An invoice is still issued with a 0 EUR amount.

Coupon not on the invoice?

Very rarely, if the Stripe webhook stalls, the purchase activates but the discount fails to appear on the invoice. In that case let us know — we’ll reissue the invoice with the correct figures.
