Subscription

DroneField offers two ways to use the product: an annual subscription for regular work, or a one-off project licence for occasional surveys. This page covers the subscription; one-off purchases are in Project licence.

What does the subscription include?

The annual subscription is built for drone-spray service providers, precision farms and survey businesses — unlimited work for one season at a predictable annual cost. While active you can work without limits:

• Unlimited number of projects
• Unlimited orthomosaic, DSM, vegetation-index processing
• Application maps, reports, ISOXML export
• Every feature of the desktop application
• All version updates released during the term
• 25 project shares per user per year — see Project sharing

Map features are also unlimited

Under an annual subscription, the map features are unlimited too — even without a drone survey. Specifically:

• Drawing field boundaries directly on the map
• Boundary import from KML, ESRI Shapefile (any projection), or from a previous project
• Export to DJI Agras, ISOXML V3/V4, XAG, ABZ Innovation, ESRI Shapefile, KML
• Application maps (VRA) generated even from manually drawn boundaries

If you need to feed a field area into a ground machine (tractor, sprayer), you don’t have to run a drone survey first — just draw the boundary on the map and export in the format you need. The orthomosaic and NDVI processing are only needed when you want a vegetation-index-based prescription or precise georeferencing.

The subscription is not bound to a quota — process 20 projects in a day if that’s what you need.

Plan — annual subscription

DroneField offers an annual subscription — sized for one season, at the most attractive per-month cost. Current plans and prices are shown on the portal’s Subscription page (occasional promotions apply; the coupon system is also usable here). Public prices are also listed on the dronefield.app pricing page.

Benefits of the annual cycle:

• Covers a full season — from sowing to harvest
• Lower monthly equivalent than shorter cycles
• Price lock — if we raise prices during your term, your rate stays the same
• Loyalty discount — uninterrupted renewals automatically receive a recurring discount

How to buy

1. Sign in to the portal and go to Subscription.
2. Pick the plan you want among the price cards.
3. Click Buy (Subscribe) on the card.
4. The checkout dialog opens:
   • Email — read-only, from your account.
   • Billing type — Individual or Company.
   • Billing name — name on the invoice (or company name).
   • Tax number — required for companies.
   • EU VAT number — for EU companies on VIES.
   • Phone number — for contact.
   • Billing address — street, city, postal code, country.
5. Optionally enter a coupon code (see Coupon redemption). After validation the total is recomputed automatically.
6. Click Continue to payment.
7. You’re forwarded to the secure Stripe payment page: bank-card details, confirmation (SCA / 3DS).
8. After successful payment you’re sent back to the portal and the Dashboard immediately shows the active subscription.

An invoice is issued automatically and emailed as a PDF — it’s also available from Invoices later.

Auto-renew

For new subscriptions auto-renew is enabled by default: at the end of each cycle we automatically charge the same bank card and the subscription continues.

You can disable auto-renew at any time — on the portal’s Subscription page, the active subscription card has a Disable Auto-renew button:

• The confirmation dialog shows the expiry date.
• Until expiry the subscription continues to work — nothing changes immediately.
• After expiry we do not charge again automatically.

You can re-enable it the same way (Enable Auto-renew) if you change your mind.

Loyalty discount

If you renew without interruption, every following cycle picks up an automatic loyalty discount. The discount amount appears on the active subscription card (e.g. “(10% loyalty discount applied)”).

The discount is calculated against the list price and applies to every renewal — unless you skip the subscription for a longer period.

Price lock

On annual subscriptions price lock is enabled automatically: if we raise prices during your term, your rate stays the same. The price-lock status is shown on the active subscription card (Active or None).

Cancellation

Because only the annual plan is offered, “switching plans” is effectively just disabling auto-renew — the subscription runs to the end of the current cycle and then stops. You don’t need to talk to anyone; the Disable Auto-renew button on the active subscription card handles it.

If you return later, you can simply buy another subscription — but the loyalty discount only applies to uninterrupted renewals.

Refunds and complaints

Purchases are subject to EU distance-selling rules (digital service). The right of withdrawal expires once the digital service has begun, but we are flexible in any reasonable case — write to us via the portal support form.

Billing for companies

As a company:

• Provide your tax number (Hungarian or EU VAT number from VIES).
• For VAT-recoverable items, the invoice is issued with reverse charge automatically if you are registered in another EU member state.
• Multiple people from the same company can use one account; each machine counts as a separate device.
